The “Rules” of crafting

Rule #1: Never leave a toddler alone with a bottle of glitter.

I’m going to be honest with you. There are no real “rules of crafting”. That is what I love about it. There are no preconceived notions about what crafting can or cannot be. Just one visit to Pinterest will show you that. A wood pallet turned into stunning wall art? Craft-astic! (Where are all these people getting pallets anyway? Is there a pallet black market that I’m unaware of??) Lace turned into a gorgeous tiara? Craft-actular!

My toddler strikes again

So my “rule book” is simply an irreverent guide for the beginner crafter,  that includes tips, simple projects, and a generous helping of “the sillies” (as my 3 year old calls them). Here is a sneak peek at what is coming soon:

  • Personalized Subway Art – for the beginner and expert crafter
  • A Zoo Animal series for preschoolers/toddlers
  • Mother’s Day gifts at any budget
  • Gorgeous and simple Spring crafts
  • Homemade card tutorials
